SALUS SMART PIPE / TEMPERATURE SENSOR

The SALUS Smart Pipe / Temperature Sensor is a compact surface sensor that monitors the temperature of heating and plumbing pipes and reports it into your SALUS Smart Home system. Use it to verify system operation, improve efficiency, and help protect against freezing or overheating in domestic or light commercial installations.

Installation is quick and non-invasive: the sensor mounts directly onto a pipe with the included strap, so there is no need to cut into the pipework. When paired with a compatible SALUS gateway and the SALUS Smart Home app, you can view temperature readings, create notifications for custom thresholds, and build simple automations (for example, switching a smart relay when a pipe reaches a set temperature).

Typical applications include monitoring boiler flow/return temperatures, hot water circulation, underfloor heating manifolds, and other hydronic pipe runs where surface temperature is a useful indicator of system status.
