BYD B-PLUS 2.5 BATTERY MANAGEMENT UNIT

The BYD B-PLUS 2.5 Battery Management Unit (BMU) is the control and communications head unit for BYD B-PLUS 2.5 low-voltage battery modules. It manages monitoring and protection of the connected battery stack, calculates state of charge, and provides the interface to the inverter for coordinated charge and discharge.

Mounted on top of the battery stack, one BMU is required per system. It consolidates voltage, current, and temperature data from all connected modules and enforces operating limits for safe, reliable performance.
